It has a warm atmosphere, and you will feel completely invited & uninhibited to express your self. It's the coolest place ever! "The idea is to lease a warehouse to use as community space for, but not limited to, independent music, art, and thought. an uninstitute of free thought and action. a non-heirarchal environment free of dogma and the restraints of consensus society for us to bring about our individual and collective visions be they creative, political, or otherwise, where the only profit is the people. where our greatest fear wouldnt be that we're inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure.
planned so far is an independent press reading room and library where one can go and read titles or find information that would otherwise be inaccessible or impossible to find in your local chainstore. an art gallery to showcase local radical, political, and independent artists who would otherwise go unnoticed. workshops for teaching and learning various things to help one take responsibility and control of their existences. from silk screening to instrument repair to anything anyone can share. a movie night has been discussed. and the space can even be used as just a meeting center for unmediated interaction with others to share thoughts and ideas that otherwise may have never crossed paths.
add to this an endless list of YOUR ideas. the full possibilities are only limited to your vision and imagination. you can help by coming to the meetings or any benefits planned. think of ways to raise money. donate if you can. tell your friends and family and get them involved. you are part of this as soon as you decide to be. it cannot be stressed enough that this is not planned for any particular type of person with any particular set of ideas, save for those who wish to bring more intensity and joy to their existences, take responsibility for their lives and their surroundings, their community and art, and mainly their VISION. dont be afraid of vision. apathy and idleness can and will work against you.
