EA is one of my all time favorite Dallas bands...their pieces are a dark & modern brand of psychadellic/alternative; it's a sound all their own.  The lyrics are moody & relate-able, always keeping your interest.  Doug Conlon is an incredible lead-guitarist & provides a strong back up harmony on vocals (sometimes even a killer lead vocal line!).  Annette Conlon is the lovely fore-fronting svelte blonde creature on vocals, as sweet & talented as she is beautiful.  And she plays her lovely pink guitar so well, you will not be able to look away from her.  (i think she has a couple of pink guitars - that's why we love you, 'Nette!).  Drummer Scott Miles is phenomenal on drums, you have to hear him to believe it.  Fans of Terry Bozzio & Bill Bruford will enjoy Scott's tight stylistic 'feel' and approach, and he does a sweet acoustic percussion set too (including playing a saw with a bow - and he's got some great pitch on that thing!).  Greg Terhune provides a tight rhythmic groove-factor, always keeping us flowing in synch with Eden Automatic's pulse with his technical bass playing style.  Overall, if you haven't seen them, i'm going to need a damn good reason why not.  It's always an enjoyable evening seeing & hearing them play.  Check out their website for tour dates >>
